- Bachelor degree of Architecture at Special school of architecture at Paris in 1985.- Scientific Baccalaureat Paris 1980.- Engineering school civil and building 1978
- Registration at the French Association of Architects in 1990.
Thierry grown up and studied in Paris, la «Ville Lumière» (« City of Light ») and inspiring city showcasing an outstanding urbanism and architecture, especially as he strolled by the Louvre Museum or the National Library of Beaubourg, developping his passion for sketching and painting.After his scientific baccalaureate, the young man studied art and engineering, before joining the famous Ecole Speciale D’architecture (Special Architectural School) on Raspail boulevard in Paris 15th.
He visited Italy and Greece often at this period, to further study architecture, urbanism and art.
After his graduation, fuelled by books from André Malraux, and Antoine de Saint Exupery, he took off for a life changing trip in the middle east.
His first oriental voyage takes him to Alep in Syria where he discovers a rich and ancient culture.
The depth of this culture created in him the desire to travel further in the Persian Gulf.
A long, atypical and passionating career in this region followed:
the young architect was awarded many importants projects that enabled him to explore, experiment Various architectures and Engineering and also used all master craftsmanships related to construction, as did the architects from the 16th of 18th century in Europe.
Thierry, as a pioneer architect in the middle east applied concepts that were both innovative as well as respectful of the climate and culture, creating a rich variety of buildings bearing Thierry’s signature.
Thierry is a passionate and creative architect, he loves challenges, engineering and new technologies but he is far away from the ease of «minimalism» that results in impersonal and ephemeral construction.
Architecture is an act of courage, it is urbanism with the vision of life embedded.
In the face of new challenges, Thierry vision believe in new technology our lifeline as we are going to witness many revolutions critical for our planet and all its inhabitants.
